The Redbird lacrosse team ended their spring season with a 10-7 loss in a resumed game against University of Indiana. The birds worked hard to come back but came up a few goals short, resulting in an end to the pursuit of the playoffs. The lax team would like to thank all fans and all the supporters who came out to the home games this year. Be sure to check the site in coming months for updates about the 2010 fall season! |

After a strong win in overtime against the University of Missouri the birds are poised to make a final push for entrance into conference playoffs this coming weekend. The Redbird lax team will take on University of Wisconsin and finish a second half against Indiana University at home on Saturday and Sunday. Check the schedule for updated times and dates and most importantly...Come see the your ISU lacrosse team make a final playoff run this weekend at Gregory Fields in Normal, Illinois!!!!!! |

The Illinois State University lacrosse team returned to home to Normal, IL yesterday after a strong 14 to 5 win over Purdue University and a postponed-at-halftime game at Indiana University. Be sure to visit the site for the planned date to finish the second half of the Indiana University game, which has yet to be decided. The Redbirds flexed their muscle at Purdue, putting up a total 14 buckets from a rookie midfielders and senior attackmen. The next game will be home against long-rival University of Illinois on Wednesday, April 7th at 7 p.m. at Hancock Stadium. Come to the stadium and catch what should be an instant classic as two teams with a long fought history go head to head in the race for the playoffs. |
